Explaining an ASD Disorder Diagnosis to an Individual with an ASD
Presented by, Dr. Soula Homatidis, PhD


Dr. Soula Homatidis is a clinical psychologist with a wealth of skills, compassion, and knowlege around working with families and individuals with a diagnosis of ASD. Dr. Homatidis will provide an overview of strategies and resources, on how to begin the process of explaining an ASD diagnosis to an individual diagnosed with an ASD. Participants will have an opportunity to ask questions, and share personal experiences with one another.

Unfortunately, Kerry's Place Autism Services only has funding for this workshop for HALTON families. 

Our mailing list includes many Mississaugua and Hamilton-Wentworth families. KPAS's jurisdiction does include Peel, but Peel families will not be allowed to attend at all, as this very workshop is offered in Peel at another time. KPAS jurisdiction does NOT include Hamilton-Wentworth. Hamilton-Wentworth families MAY be allowed admission, if space allows. Note: Regardless of where you live, IDENTIFICATION with an address will be required at this workshop. Please, do not register if you don't live in Halton, as you will be deleted from the list (sorry).
